Day 3 - The Visitation

After receiving the angel’s announcement, Mary set out on a journey to the hill country of Judea to help her cousin Elizabeth, who was also expecting a child in her old age. As soon as Mary entered the house and greeted her, the baby in Elizabeth’s womb leaped for joy. Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, exclaimed, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!” Mary, filled with joy, sang the Magnificat, praising God because He had looked with favor on the lowliness of His servant.
